From the introduction to the exhibition:

Exhibition of metalographies "4 x What" or "Find your connection"

Metalographies are photographs created by infusion of dyes into the surface of highly polished aluminum under high pressure and temperature, creating thus the picture with unusual depth and plasticity.

Czech-American chemist and photographer Michal Lebl gives in his "quadruptychs" into context related or seemingly unrelated objects and tries to make you want to find other associations. Is it just a structure, color, shape, age, place of origin, or function of these objects? Or, has every "quadruptych" more layers of context? It's up to you whether you find them all.

The exhibition took place in a cafe / club / gallery Carpe Diem from 6 April to 5 May 2014
